He also carried genetic markers for male-sample baldness. Thinking about his age \u2014 and the mummy\u2019s lacking hair \u2014 Zink suspects that \u00d6tzi was balding when he died.<\/p>\n<p>Former work suggests that Anatolians had been in Europe at the time that \u00d6tzi was alive.
